It’s been a busy week at work — just got myself a promotion and haven’t had a chance to work on the MUD as much as I’d like (more tired in the evenings than out of time, really). Most of this week’s effort has been directed toward the editor.
I’m wondering whether it would be a better idea to release a prototype of the editor to get ideas and suggestions or wait until it’s pretty much useable before releasing it. It’s probably a difference of about 4 weeks in time/effort.
Do you know of anyone that has baste2 code that I could get and dink around with on my own personal linux box?
No, since it’s extremely-not-open-source I don’t think you’re going to find anyone willing to part with the Basternae 2 code.
Congrats on the promotion.
If you want to release as is i dont mind creating a small zone to load up. Heya Lyran – long time no see.
Well at least ya tried Glaman. I should have Illic’s email around here somewhere i bet he has the code.
Well congrats on promo!!
I’m very interested to see this evolve!!
just happened onto this blog.. I’ll be checking back from time to time to see when the test servers are up!
Heya kids.
What Makoto said….
OMG Vauk – what ya been up to? Illic braught up B2 on his home machine but then took it down again. Unless he put it up on another address.
Howdy all. Just was googling around for old memories and stumbled upon this. I’ve been spending a lot of time commuting recently and found myself daydreaming of Basternae raiding. Anyway, good to see a place to check up on the status of things and see what’s happening. It looks like there’s a bit of a player base to start with when things get ready for some ptesting.
Hey Gargauth.
Granny! Been well I hope, mate.
Pappasito’s!!!
damn, well it seems since the promotion the updates have stopped.
Seems we have a nice raid party here….Granny, Vauk, Draxt, Glaman, Makoto, Lyran
Let get this going!
agreed to lyran, lets get it rumbling,
i wanna prowl around on the look for an occational mischeif or two,
